Working in collaboration with our police customers Clarity has launched a new civil litigation disclosure portal. The portal is a workflow management and online payment solution, which is used by police forces to collect payments and manage disclosures when solicitors and insurance companies wish to obtain copies of collision reports, witness statements and associated collision records from the police.
Disclosure activities are managed through a workflow that is used to register new search requests, compile collision records, record payments and authorise disclosures. Associated task metrics are displayed on a management dashboard, which provides a clear view of the current workload and the status of disclosure requests at any given time.
Online request and payment facilities simplify the approach that may be used by companies to obtain documents associated with civil litigation claims, while reducing police back-office administration time spent processing disclosure requests.
