Content Management Success

September 2007

Clarity has secured a contract to develop a new website and a corporate intranet for Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service.

Clarity shall develop these solutions using the award-winning RedDot CMS content management system. CMS shall provide a highly effective platform to create, access, manage and distribute content on the website and the intranet. This content management platform shall also facilitate ease-of-use, rapid installation and low maintenance costs.

Highly intuitive content editing tools shall facilitate dynamic maintenance of the website and intranet by non-technical staff, thereby promoting distributed "local" ownership of content and eliminating the traditional ICT content publishing bottleneck.

Dynamic websites that are maintained with frequent updates are visited more regularly by their user community and this arrangement is highly beneficial for citizen-centric organisations, such as Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.
