Greater Manchester Police Document Management for Electronic Case Files

Clarity has deployed our FastForm Ticketing Management solution, which integrates scanning, data capture and document management technologies, in numerous police forces throughout the UK.

FastForm captures images and data from paper forms, transfers the information into corporate and national offence processing systems, including PentiP, and stores high-integrity images of all incoming and outgoing offence records within an enterprise document management environment, capturing document profile data automatically within the EDRMS.

Clarity’s contract to deliver FastForm Ticketing Management to Greater Manchester Police included full responsibility for delivery, configuration and support of FastForm within the GMP Central Ticket Office (CTO), including:

Requirements Analysis - Clarity reviewed offence processing requirements and working practices within the CTO and identified a proposed FastForm system configuration that would support operational objectives most effectively. This was documented in a System Requirements and Design Specification (SRDS).

System Installation, Configuration and Test - The FastForm solution was installed, configured in accordance with the agreed SRDS and tested within the CTO. This scope included configuration of Clarity’s FastForm Integration Management software to interface with the scanning software and store and profile documents automatically in the document management system, based on data captured during the scanning process (this interface module can also import documents and metadata into a DM system from external applications). Clarity also integrated FastForm with the VP/FPO national offence processing system during this phase.

Training - Comprehensive user and administrator training was provided to facilitate effective adoption of FastForm with minimal business disruption.

Fully Managed Solution Support - Provides guaranteed response times, incident and problem resolution processes, escalation routes and service reporting.

Project Management - Full responsibility for delivery of the specified solution, in accordance with contract requirements.
